Palestine, TX Selenite Field Trip.
A dozen Selenite seekers met at McCoys Building Supply parking lot in Palestine, Texas at 8 AM, May 23rd. We then caravaned 13-14 miles southwest to our collecting site. Our goal: find clear Selenite crystal clusters. And we did find them...lots of them! Some members trekked to a nearby creek and found petrified wood, agate and small fossils. Kudos to Fred Mahaffey for a great trip!
